This talk was given at the conclusion of an all-day Catechist Training at St. Charles Catholic Church in Arlington, VA. It elaborates on the difference between evangelization and catechesis as distinct “moments” in the ministerial activity of the Church, and why it is so important to build our catechesis on the solid foundation of the kerygma.
